The Lancashire Heeler

The breed is believed to be a descendant of the Welsh Corgi, due to the fact that the Welsh Corgi was used to drive livestock from Whales to the north western regions of England. In the Ormskirk area, a type of black and tan terrier, known as the 'Manchester Terrier, ' was introduced.
