Released in 1967, *"Side Trips"* is the debut album by mutli-talented band **Kaleidoscope.** Each track on this album stands very well on its own and came to be through **David Lindley's** fascination for strings, **Chris Darrow's** love for early *Beatles* and **Solomon Feldthouse's** experiments with exotic Eastern sounds. *"Side Trips"* is psychedelic rock, world and roots music going through diverse moods that the single*"Please"* alone does not signify.
