The two initial volumes of *'Play Bach'* on which French pianist **Jacques Loussier**, along with renowned bassist **Pierre Michelot** and drummer **Christian Garros** translated the magic of *Johann Sebastian Bach's* compositions into the Jazz idiom, were an immediate success. *"I don't play Bach, I play alongside Bach",* **Loussier** once said. Such was the response to the albums that the pianist would repeat the formula many times over the years. Presented here are the complete early volumes that gained **Loussier** his much-deserved fame.
