Reissued 1960 album, **Peterson** recorded as an accompanist for many other stars, and also as the leader of his trio, which in 1959, when this homage to **Jerome Kern** (1885-1945) was made, consisted of **Ray Brown** on bass and **Ed Thigpen** on drums. Three **Kern songs** not taped for the 1959 album and which **Peterson** rarely played have been added as a bonus.
