In 2002, Whip It On hit music fans and critics alike like a sledgehammer. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, The Raveonettes is releasing an album of covers entitled The Raveonettes presents: Rip It Off.

The band have asked The Black Angels, Dave Gahan (of Depeche Mode) & Kurt Uenala, MØ, trentemøller, Glasvegas, Anton Newcombe (The Brian Jonestown Massacre), Brimheim and PRISMA if they would take part.

Each has contributed with their own unique take on one of the eight tracks off the original mini-album.
