Long serving Norwegian unit Eple Trio is such a band, constantly searching for new ways to create or define beauty, with elements

of Nordic folk tunes and baroque music all within the context of a modern jazz trio.

The excellent performances captured on Ghosts contain selections from the trios five albums released since 2007, seamlessly blending into each other, like old friends

meeting up at the end of the year, a bit more mature and perhaps also a bit weary, but still able to find the excitement of early beginnings through conversation. The material and the performances have the coherency of three strong individual musical personalities creating a fourth persona: Eple Trio.
