The Jesus and Mary Chain

To celebrate the 25th anniversary, The Jesus and Mary Chain's 1998 album, "Munki", will be reissued on vinyl for the first time since 2014. Previous pressings of the album are now in high demand.

The Jesus and Mary Chain's album "Munki" was originally released back in 1998, and was their last album before a long album hiatus that lasted nearly 20 years. Songs for the album were written separately by Jim and William Reid due to personal and creative tension that eventually resulted in their hiatus. The original reception of the album was mixed but it has since been recognized as a significant work in their discography, signalling an important - if sorrowful - moment in the band's trajectory.
