Fra Bernardo presents the whole variety of the musical work of George Frideric Handel on one CD: The harpsichord duo Le Petit Concert Baroque (the sisters Chani & Nadja Lesaulnier) takes us through arrangements into the opera world of Caro Sassone. Heart and pain are sung about. Every now and then we swing our dancing legs or let our soul dangle to wellknown melodies from the Water Musick and the Musick for the Royal Fireworks. When Philippe Jaroussky sings the wonderful aria Cara sposa from Handel's successful London opera Rinaldo at the end, the gates of the seventh heaven seem to open.
