Dinner's Served

Scum and the underground music scene have been inseparable since 1996. His styles changed over the years but his life was and always will be dedicated to making some of the most disturbing, shocking, and aggressive music possible. He started off doing death metal after moving to Colorado in 1995 from Moscow, Russia where he was born and raised. Then in 1999 when he felt his English has improved enough to write rhymes he started rapping, joining DJ Sevill to form DL (Denver Lowlifes) and recording their first demo 'On The Edge'. This low quality recording showed that even though Scum's delivery and rhymes were far from perfect but the content was so profane and offensive that it motivated Scum to continue rapping and gained them their first fans. In the year 2000 Scum was joined by Kasper of EWT to form LnG and founded Lyrikal Snuff Productionz. They spent 2001 in the studio and in early 2002, the labels first official release - LnG's 'Lyrikal Snuff' was out in stores throughout Colorado. Due to it's graphic and violent content the CD was banned by a variety of stores making it very hard to distibute. Shortly after the release the duo broke up in the middle of recording their sophomore release 'Murderous Intentionz' which was never finished. At that point Scum decided to pursue his solo career and began working on 'Violent Verses' which was temporarily abandoned halfway through the recording when he hooked up with a local incarcerated producer named Airtight who supplied him with the beats to record 'Enter The Asylum' which featured a variety of local talent including a young CO rapper named Borey who was signed to Lyrikal Snuff Productionz shortly after that. When the album was released in early 2003, Scum went back to the studio and finished recording 'Violent Verses' which was mainly self produced aside for a few tracks that were produced by Airtight and DJ Sevill (DL). In late 2003 the album was completed released by LSP. From there on the real struggle began. Slowly but surely getting the CD's in stores throughout the country, performing numerous shows with Borey, signing Fiasco (who became LSP's #1 prodcer) and True Killah in 2004. Setting up street teams to promote and distribute his releases. Doing more shows. From small 21 and up clubs to larger all age venues, Scum did them all. Putting GoreHop (Scum's self proclaimed style) on the map! The fanbase grew, and so did Scum's lyrikal and performing skills. In 2005 he returned to the studio to record his most diverse album yet, 'Only Bodies Left Behind' which featured a variety of producers and guest appearances by respected artists from all over the country. At the same time Scum was involved in recording, engineering and releasing Borey's debut solo album 'Firzt Impulze' which also featured Scum on a couple of tracks. With numerous delays due to the extreme graphic content of the 'Only Bodies Left Behind' artwork being turned down by a variety of manufacturers, both of the CD's didn't come out till January 2006. From there on it was a busy year for Scum and the crew. Establishing GoreFest (an annual all day horrorcore festival in CO), touring, online and street promotions, printing and selling a wide variety of merchendise, setting up distribution deals, recruiting new street teams in 21 states, selling CD's and merch all over the world, doing a variety of radio and TV interviews, recording numerous collaborations and apearing on various compilations and mixtapes. In 2006 Scum joined The 4 Horzemen, a group that consisted of Sciktanick (NM), Ressurrector (TN), and Preacher X (Sweden) and they released their debut CD 'Unholy Ressurrection'. Later that year, Scum announced signing Qrem Dela Qrem (an established local artist out of Greeley, CO) to LSP at the Unbound Underground Fest in Denver. In 2006 Scum did 25 shows throughout the country, sold a few thousand albums and many hundreds of shirts, performed with numerous local and national artists and established a dedicated fanbase all over the world. In 2007, Lyrikal Snuff Productionz has scheduled multiple releases including Scum's - 'Dinner's Served' LP, and a new group featuring Scum and Sicktanick (NM) called Hate Magnet, which is supposed to be a very heavy, guitar driven, moshpit oriented project which targets the metal listeners who still have love for GoreHop because of it's sick content. With numerous collaborations also recorded this year Scum is due to appear on multiple releases in 2007 and beyond which will help to further increase the fanbase and get gorehop more exposure all over the world. New merchendise and jewelry is in on the way for all the gorefiends worldwide. 2008 is ahead with 2 more releases from Scum in the works and more shows all over the US, more fests, more CD release parties, signings, radio and TV appearances. There is no stopping for Scum/LSP and with some additional funding that the label is seeking right now there is no telling what heights they can take this geanre to...
