Recorded two nights before Christmas in Florence, Alabama at Single Lock Studios by Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes) for the upcoming full length haints recording The Song Companion of a Lone Star Cowboy to be released on Single Lock later this year... a scorching blues harp (played by Col JD Wilkes of the Legendary Shackshakers) paying tribute to possibly the greatest pitcher to ever play baseball, Mobile, Alabama's own Satchel Paige... backed with the haunting fiddle of an old Irish traditional tune, "Whiskey in the Jar"
