Proving that there's more to hospitals than just disinfectant and dysentery, GREEN WING takes an altogether unconventional view of the health service. Produced by the team who brought you SMACK THE PONY, the series is more concerned with the antics of its dysfunctional characters than with actual medical issues, and plays out like a surreal soap opera (think an NHS version of SCRUBS, but with more emphasis on the comedy element). This TV special marks the end of the show's very successful run, in which it won critical acclaim and a BAFTA award.
