In 'Long Arm of the Law' (1984), a Hong Kong jewellery store robbery goes wrong when the thieves kill a police officer while attempting to flee the scene. In 'Long Arm of the Law: Part 2' (1987), to atone for their crime of sneaking into Hong Kong illegally, three Chinese police officers are forced to work undercover if they are to remain in the country.
