Superman II

Christopher Reeve stars as the eponymous DC Comics superhero in this action adventure sequel directed by Richard Lester. Hoping to start a new life with fellow Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane (Margot Kidder), Superman agrees to sacrifice his extraordinary superpowers in favour of living a normal life as his alter-ego Clark Kent. Meanwhile, Kryptonian criminals General Zod (Terence Stamp), Ursa (Sarah Douglas) and Non (Jack O'Halloran) have escaped their imprisonment in the Phantom Zone and set their sights on conquering Earth.
