Love Jones Criterion Collection

Photographer Nina Mosley (Nia Long) vows that she will not become involved in another relationship after she is jilted by her fiancé Marvin Cox. When Darius Lovehall (Larenz Tate) dedicates a poem to her on stage at a club called the Sanctuary, she is attracted to him but initially refuses to go on a date. Darius uses all his charm to woo Nina, but even when they become romantically involved, each denies that it is a 'love thing'.

When Marvin asks Nina back, she and Darius have to decide just how serious their affair really is.
