Rogue Male

British war thriller starring Peter O'Toole and based on the novel by Geoffrey Household. When Sir Robert Hunter (O'Toole) attempts an audacious plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler he is caught just before pulling the trigger and is subsequently tortured by the German authorities, but before they can kill him Thorndyke manages to escape back to England. Once back home he quickly realises that German agents are continuing to track him and he must use all his wit and cunning to evade their advances.
