The Horsemen

Omar Sharif and Jack Palance star in this action drama directed by John Frankenheimer. In Afghanistan, the ancient horseback game of Buzkashi, a tough sport with a strict code of honour, is a way of life for its players. Uraz (Sharif) seeks to emerge from the shadow of his father, Tursen (Palance), the greatest horseman in Afghanistan, and forge his own identity.

After losing an important tournament and injuring his leg, Uraz sets out on a dangerous path of self-discovery and, ultimately, glory.
