Lucky McKee writes and directs this horror starring Angela Bettis as the titular character, a troubled woman who struggles to connect with other people. As a child, her only friend was a doll given to her by her mother and she grew up as a social outcast. When she meets Adam (Jeremy Sisto), she hopes that things will change, but she soon realises that nobody is perfect and begins the task of creating the perfect friend.
