Television drama directed by David Wickes and starring Michael Caine and Jane Seymour. It is 1888 and the East End of London is plagued by a vicious killer known as Jack the Ripper. Fear and outrage grow in the city as the victims of his brutality continue to be found.
Chief Inspector Frederick Abberline (Caine) is assigned to the case and quickly discovers that there is more to the investigation than meets the eye.
