Happy Tears

Dysfunctional family comedy drama. Parker Posey and Demi Moore star as two adult sisters, Jayne and Laura, who return to their childhood home to deal with their father, Joe (Rip Torn), who is suffering from dementia and other challenging medical problems. Tensions mount as the two sisters juggle their very different everyday lives with their father's deteriorating health and a trying new incumbent in the family home, Joe's self-appointed 'nurse': thinly-disguised prostitute and drug addict Shelley (Ellen Barkin).
