Design 1-3

Three volumes of the documentary strand which attempts to tell the story of the 20th century through the design of various industrial objects. Volume 1 episodes are: 'The DS 19', 'The Bubble Club Sofa', 'The BIC Ballpoint Pen', 'The Akari Lamp', 'The Hoover 150' and 'The iMac'. Volume 2 episodes are: 'The Bookworm Bookshelf', 'Concorde', 'The Cafetiere Coffee-Maker', 'The Leica Camera', 'The Lounge Chair' and 'The Vespa Scooter'.

Volume 3 episodes are: 'The Pouf Sacco', 'The Algol Television', 'The Fauteuil Paimio' and 'The Walkman'.
