Harry Carey plays Wistful McClintock, a single-minded sheriff who's determined to bring Evans and Stevens to justice. Entrusting the direction to screenwriter James Edward Grant (DONOVAN'S REEF), Wayne bolstered Grant's debut by tapping veteran Yakima Canutt (G-MEN NEVER FORGET) to handle the hard-riding second unit direction.
