Daniel Kravitz is the Chosen One, a man tasked with saving the world from monsters, demons, and the Ultimate Evil. But it's not a role he relishes, wishing he could go back to running the antique shop he hated with his best friend, Abby Reynolds. And he's pretty grumpy about the whole thing.

But that ship has sailed. Following the monster attack that destroyed the shop and killed Daniel's sorcerer friend, Josh Wallace, and Daniel and team's subsequent takedown of the U. L. P., the organization that oversees the Chose One, they are tasked with rebuilding on a ranch in Montana. Abby, now Daniel's girlfriend and head of the rebuilt U. L. P., must manage Daniel, stuffy Rufus Reginald Rochester, cowardly Alexis Augustus Armentrout, the fierce Gahroo Grezit the Green, eccentric sorcerer Alfredo, a whole bunch of green trainees, and someone who may or may not be an alive-again Josh.

This season takes Daniel and friends in direct conflict with the monsters of The Subworlds while dealing with Jewish magic, Native American protector animals, a cave that can suck the life out of you, zombies, and a high school reunion. Will Daniel save the day once again with his group of misfits? Or will the Ultimate Evil win in the end?
