While Evening Fades

Maggie Carlson assumed she'd never marry a preacher, but when interim preacher Graham Campbell enters town to help her father, the local pastor healing from illness, reason gives way to love and she become Mrs. Graham Campbell. As a young bride she is content to hide behind her mother's role. When Graham is called to pastor a church near his hometown, Maggie must face her insecurities. In a country rising from the Great Depression and her new community eyeing a potential war overseas, Maggie finds an unlikely friend with her own set of woes and comes to realize the role one life can have with another.
