Decoding Boko Haram

Boko Haram is a terrorist organization created by Northern Nigeria elites, as a piece of political machinery. Unfortunately, it becomes a boomerang and a monster for the people of Northern Nigeria, which resulted in deaths and instability throughout the Northeast of Nigeria and beyond. We are heading to catastrophe because some of us like to act before thinking. A single day is enough to make us a little larger or, another time, a little smaller. For too often, the reality of the choices proposes are such as to take away one's taste for choosing. "According to Global Terrorist index" published by the Institute for Economics and Peace ( IEP), Boko Haram rank as the deadliest terror group in the world today. Amnesty International also reported how Boko- Haram killed thousands of people, which includes children, women, police, and soldiers. Many Nigerians are looking forward to the day Boko- Haram will be defeated, but that day will never come. Boko Haram can never be defeated because a corrupt nation can never defeat terrorism. Nigerians do not know that corruption is a part of terrorism. When you sit on the oil wells of the country as spoils of the civil war, while others are suffering, that is economic terrorism. When you think that your own religion supersedes others, then that will lead you to be a religious fanatic and a terrorist. No wonder why we are in a mess that is leading us to be among the failed nations of the world. We have begun to look like a giant of no greatness and a laughing stock. A state that denies its citizen their fundamental rights become a danger to its neighbors as well: the arbitrary internal rule will be reflected in arbitrary external relations. The suppression of public opinion, the abolition of a public competition, unless through the government gunboat, the abolition of fair elections. But a state that does not hesitate to lie to its own people will not hesitate to lie to other countries... We should bear in mind that ignorance, forgetfulness of history, or contempt of the rights of man are the only causes of public misfortunes and of corruption of governments. We have reached to the point we can't recover from those ills, because of our death of common sense. Common sense is the measure of possible; it is composed of experienced and provision; it is calculation applied to life. Talking about Nigeria and the government killing of her citizens is like talking about crimes and criminals. Sad to say that in Nigeria, whenever crises reach the peak, you will never get solutions or answers to problems because of tribal and political interests...
