It is 1978. Before the internet, and Amazon is still just a river. There is romance too, but carrying his dreadful secret, our narrator must try to carve himself a new life before his old one catches up with him and wrecks it all. This book is woven around lighthearted incidents and a gentle growing romance; although powerful tension is building as the plot twists and turns and the clock is ticking.
