Beyond Color was inspired by the BlackLivesMatter movement following the death of George Floyd in 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The author hopes that this book will reach millions of children and their parents who will read together and be inspired to raise their combined voices against racism, hence influencing an entire future generation and world to choose LOVE instead of hate for all races and skin color.
