Promises

Marissa Cromwell is an attractive and successful thirty-something woman who has dealt with anxiety and depression most of her life. She is a self-described loner who mostly keeps to herself and minds her own business. One rainy afternoon, a freak accident thrusts her into a way of life, full of change, uncertainty, insecurity and bouts of depression and anxiety. Marissa is a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and there are no accidents in life. What could have possibly been the reason for what happened that rainy afternoon? Her new life introduces her to a state of being she never knew existed, surrounding her and more importantly, within her. Openness, honesty, acceptance and awareness are learned, until another tragedy occurs, taking her right back to where she started.
