There are 6 stories from the Old Testament including the story of the First Man - Adam and continuing with the stories of Noah, Jacob, Moses, David, and Esther. All of these stories help trace the story of God's People, Israel, from the Beginning through the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, after the Exile to Babylon. After that, there are 4 New Testament stories telling about the Son of Man, Jesus Christ. These include the Bible stories of Jesus' Birth, the Flight to Egypt, of Jesus Calling His Disciples (in particular, Peter), and the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes. For anyone wanting to know the overarching story of the Bible, and how God interacted with His People, Israel, this is a great book. I would highly recommend it.
