The Deliverance of Maria

A young girl orphaned and displaced during the aftermath of the Mexican revolution, finds her way to Cuba where she is taken in and raised by a wealthy Cuban family. With her coming of age comes an understanding of the prevalence of injustice and greed surrounding her. As her zeal for revolutionary action grows it takes her once again into the apocalyptic world she was lucky enough to escape from. From refugee to revolutionary participant she must find a way to survive and make her mark in a world where friends can be enemies and enemies can be friends
