The Music of Dario Boente Vol.1

The term "Crossover Artist" can mean many things. In the case of Argentinian-born pianist and composer, Dario Boente, it is epitomized by a multi-talented musician who is equally at home composing solo piano pieces or jazz compositions, and enjoys expressing himself through a variety of musical styles, from modern Tango to Samba, Flamenco, or House Music. Dario pursued his formal studies at Berklee College of Music (Boston), the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London), and the New School Jazz and Contemporary Music Program (New York) where he achieved a degree in Fine Arts and Music Composition. This book is a compilation of some of the most significant musical works he has composed. It gathers a wide array of different styles and approaches to writing, with particular emphasis on the melodic motif as the main core of every piece.
