Brexit has been a considerable source of controversy and division in the UK. Possibly the worst since Oliver Cromwell. Causing division within communities, families, friends and within political parties. This commentary represents key events in the Brexit process from the referendum through to exit on the 31st January 2020. This is a serious narrative, that attempts to lighten innate tensions with a touch of irony, satire and metaphor. With many parts of the narrative engaging emotions relating to fun, sadness, remorse, hope, disappointment, fear, optimism, and despair.
