The autobiography Me, Flint and the Grace of God is a close up view of Rauchelle Southward's transformation to a born again believer of Jesus Christ. The story opens up with memoirs of Rauchelle's childhood growing up in the poverty stricken city of Flint, Michigan becoming a product of his environment. Falling into a lifestyle of gangs, drugs, violence, incarceration and addiction Rauchelle has spent ten years of thirty-seven behind walls incarcerated. Three years as a juvenile from the age of 14 to 17. In and out of jail from the age of 20-25 accumulating to two years. And finally landing in prison where transformation took place from the age of 31 to 37. While in prison he was born again. He began to teach bible studies and he also earned an associate degree in Theology. This autobiography was birthed in prison also. Another thing he begin to do was produce gospel music and he is now a world wide recording artist. The main objective to this story is to let the whole world know that Jesus Christ can save anyone and Rauchelle Southward is a living testimony to that. He came from gangs and street life, alcoholism, drug dealing, pimping, drug addiction and many more social ills of the ghetto streets. He is now a productive member of society steady pressing toward the mark as a living testimony of what the Lord Jesus Christ can do for man.
