The summer dissipates and the monsoon peeks through the curtains of cloud like a child peeking into his father's study room. That child is like an open book. This book is that curious child.
The book is a collection of feelings and emotions churned and mixed through time. Each poem depicts a veiled and complex emotion that is best left expressed in the form of poem. At first sight, they may look childish and outright crude. But something is amiss because they aren't telling the entire truth.
The book is a collection of poems that weren't hurriedly made up. Each poem was written when a surge of feelings overcame the authors like a wave splashing the shore. Be it good, bad or complex. It might never match up to fantabulous works accomplished by well-known poets but it is a testament to life. The life of the blessed.
With this, I give you my very heart, Heart of the Blessed for I feel that my life is blessed with a rich variety of feelings and emotions. I only wish that this book gives you the same variety of emotions and feelings that I felt throughout my life.

About Author
We all know life isn't easy for everyone. Some suffer physically while others suffer metaphysically. This book is work of three souls.
The first one is religious but suffers from mediocrity of life. It has accepted its fate and lost all hope on almighty. But yet continues to sing his praise in a vain attempt, believing that life will turn around. Sadly, it is only greeted by more mediocrity.
Another soul is caught in a web of guilt and lies. It is filled with resent and veiled jealousy. It has suffered its share of abuse and sufferings. But, just like a strong castle or bastion, it stands tall reminding life that it is ready to take on anything. It gives hope to other two souls.
The last soul is called atheist and lucky by the other two souls. The other two believe that the almighty listens to its prayers but this soul only believes in probability. He is tormented by boredom and seeks something to quench its curiosity. But nothing satisfies its curiosity and it continues to suffer the onslaught of Boredom.
Their names are etched upon this book in the same order.
