Investigation of methanolic extract of Streblus asper Lour. barks

The present study was carried out to investigate the Phytochemical and Pharmacological screening such as thrombolytic, cytotoxic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial effect of crude methanol extract of Stem barks of Streblus asper L .(Family: Moraceae) and it's sub fractions such as N-hexane, Dichloromethane, Chloroform and Ethyl acetate extracts. Preliminary Phytochemical screening demonstrated the presence of Glycosides, Steroids, Saponins, Tannins and Resins. An in vitro thrombolytic activity on methanol, Dichloromethane and water extracts showed 13.071% (P =
