Since2006,the EuropeanChemistryatInterfacesConference(ECIC)andtheEuropeanColloidandInterface Society Conference have merged, allowing for the participation of scientists from more diversebackgroundsandnationalities. rd WideningtheboardersofEurope,the23 ECISmeetingwasheldinAntalya, Turkeyfrom rd September6toSeptember11,includingthe3 COSTD43ActionWorkshop. Themeeting wasjoinedbyalmost400participantsfromgroupsfromdifferentcountriesnotonlyfrom Europebutalsofromallovertheworld. 83oraland314posterpresentationswerecontributed. The interesting discussions as well as establishing new contacts between scientists were essentialpartsofthemeeting.
