My Pillow, the World

If you love the fidgety freight train of seasons, if you love the turbulent recycling of rivers and seas, if you love mischievous sunlight and crystalline darkness, if you love sweet summer grass under your bare feet and the din of birdsong cluttering the airwaves, if you love life itself and the dark rotting soul of cool dank earth, then this is for you. This collection of poems has been gathering itself together over a number of years. Set largely in Wales and England its observations range from the mountains of Snowdonia to the coastline of Pembrokeshire, from the lakes of Cumbria to the rolling slopes of the Cotswolds. I've never failed to be uplifted in my soul and relieved of the everyday stresses of life by walking a mountain or lazing on a beach or simply escaping into a park. This book takes you on a journey through the seasons with diversions along the way. My hope is that it will bring back pleasant memories and stir inside that same spiritual awakening for you.
