Domestic violence and abuse stemming down from family feuds, separation and divorce processes disrupts the mental and psychological developmental processes of many children. It robs many children of their self-esteem and makes them vulnerable to sociopaths, psychopaths and bullies. Many have lost out on academics, career and life generally because they grew up under crisis-ridden atmosphere. This book paints a picture of the stigmatization that women and children in separation and divorce face and advocates for a change in societal attitude towards the children of marriages under separation and divorce, especially within the Nigerian and African context. It also emphasized the need for better legal and law enforcement frameworks for dealing with separation and divorce. Finally, this book proffered ways of dealing with domestic, relational and gender based violence and abuse, citing real life instances.
