Life of Bennie

Not every dog talks, but some do. This is BENNIE and he's interested in everything! He wants to know about life and popular culture, and he has a lot to say about the people and dogs with whom he lives.




He's short and hairy and lovable. He's got lots of questions and loves to talk things over with his people. In book 1, Life of Bennie, he checks out a variety of things he's curious about. In subsequent books, he will explore the animal world, learn more about his people, and check out the culture. Along the way, we'll learn how much he loves Annie and how difficult it is to be short in a tall dog's world.




His stubby legs are the bane of his existence. A golden retriever body ought not be placed on basset hound legs, but what are you gonna do? He hurries through life with his dog and human friends and never lets his crooked paw slow him down.




Readers will find that Bennie asks all the right questions, and if most of the answers lead back to extra helpings of dogfood and more love in his heart for Annie, who's to say there's anything wrong with that?




Bennie has made a lot of friends on social media and now he will find his place in the bigger world.
