Forever Dawns

Arriving here at the first of their six creations, ready for colonisation, these planet builders encounter the unprecedented; their new home is already flourishing with alien life, and it's not of their doing. Before deliberations begin and shortly after separating with the mothership's propulsion units, disaster strikes; the colossal ship, failing to maintain its orbit, plummet to the planet, crashing into the shallow sea and ending the mortal existence of all onboard except one, the commander. The real tragedy this was no accident!




Six thousand years later, the direct descendant of the commander, the principal character, Marc, has arrived at the age of accountability and must learn of his past and prepare to rescue his people, those fairer-skinned in his bloodline, along with the direct descendants of the skeleton crew from the propulsion units. They have evolved, interlinked through breeding, now no more the original species of their beginning-the humans dominating the indigenous population. Their heritage forbids this, Marc discovers, and there's more. But while Marc must correct the balance, first he must raise the mothership and the one propulsion unit from beneath two ocean beds thousands of miles apart from where they came to rest. But an unproportionate problem dominates his mission; the protective substance the ship is coated in needs external energy to prevent returning to its most destructive state. Six millennia in the dark only aids to increase degeneration, and the timer is ticking down. Once at the point of no return, disastrous for the planet and all life upon it, motivates his actions. He has a plan, but humans are not going to like it.
