Emele Dracula is a rich man in Transylvania, Romania, with family business holdings in African diamond mines and a shipping company. After building his fortune with the businesses for many years, he realizes he is much older and hasn't really had much of a life. He remembers the stories of an African tribe that were known for their longevity. Emele goes to Africa for one of his routine checks and tries to find the elusive tribe. Finding them he talks to the leader and will undergo a ritual of herb based potions and black magic. The ritual is interrupted. While he has longevity he has also taken on vampirism. Adjusting to his new night life, Emele keeps running the business and becomes a sort of night stalker to control his terrible thirst/hunger he must satisfy weekly with the blood of humans. Emele leads a solitary life with only the castle caretaker, Rhensfield, as his close friend. Emele's secret is found out by Rhensfield but actions bind them closer than ever. Emele is suspected of being a vigilante and is being watched by an old detective, VanHelsing. Keeping one step ahead of VanHelsing, Emele has given up on romance until he meets a young woman, Constance, and falls for her at first sight, only to discover she is the daughter of the man hell bent on proving what a monster Mr. Emele Draculas is. Emele wants to share his secret with Constance, but her father interrupts and kills Emele. A pregnant Constance flees to America to start a new life. Meanwhile Emele lies slowly healing in his grave. Twenty years later Emele is summoned from his grave. Fearing his beloved Constance is in danger, he frees himself only to find it has been years since he has seen her. So much has changed but Emele vows to regain his wealth and goes on a journey to find his one true love.
