Revenge of the Untamed Magic: the second installment of Sooty Wick mysteries

When twelve-year-old Beetle Beane returns to Sooty Wick Inn as Murtha Bellwether's apprentice, she hopes to expose a company she suspects of dumping toxic chemicals into Deadman's Swamp. Meanwhile, guided by an apparition at the inn, she obtains an intriguing object and launches an investigation to find out if it belonged to a person of historical significance.
