Contributor Bio:  Melzer, Richard Richard Anthony Melzer is a professor of history at the University of New Mexico Valencia Campus. He is a former president of the Historical Society of New Mexico and is the author of many books and articles on twentieth-century New Mexico history. Contributor Bio:  Taylor, John M John M. Taylor is the author a number of history books, including "Duty Faithfully Performed: Robert E. Lee and His Critics" (Brassey's, Inc., 1999). He is also a contributor to many popular history magazines including "American Heritage, Military History Quarterly", and "Civil War Times". He lives in McLean, Virginia.
