Diamonds, drugs, money laundering, murder - the DeLuca and Brattini crime families are still at it. But there is a new threat to their existences, a threat uncovered during a takedown of a group of Mohawk crossing the border between Canada and the United States. Who is behind the threat? That's what the FBI and RCMP want to know. Grant Teasdale, retired RCMP officer, along with his brother Larry Lyons, former FBI agent now working with the RCMP, have been called back into the fray to help. FBI's top undercover agent Jennifer White - known for her "shoot first and ask questions later" style - is assigned to work with them. When Grant's young son Sam and Sam's mother Lisa Sherman are revealed as the likely targets, Grant must enlist help from the opposite side of the law in order to protect them. But only Elizabeth DeLuca, widow of crime boss Santino DeLuca, can bring the DeLuca and Brattini families together to get the answers Grant needs. Long, smouldering desire and an unrequited love complicate the dynamics. But the final outcome is a story for the ages.
