Terrorbelle may be one of the toughest women in New York City... But she learned everything she knows in Faerie.

From her brutalization at eleven at the hands of soldiers who then killed her mother in front of her, Terrorbelle has had a rough life. From a child who wanted nothing more than vengeance, Terrorbelle grew and matured, learning discipline, sacrifice, and honor. She survived and fought back, becoming a soldier then a Daemor, one of Mab's elite female warriors. Even in her youth, Terrorbelle fought to protect the weak and free the oppressed from the tyrant Thandau. Along the way, she learns that the dead can still love; to always look a ride offering horse in the mouth, especially when it can swim; that her heart's desire isn't all it's cracked up to be; on the battlefield and in a trench in the dark, people are all the same; a diplomatic mission to an underwater city is no place for someone whose body is too dense to float; sometimes it is difficult to pick which is the lesser of two evils; and even when served cold, revenge can still choke you.
