The Invisible Holocaust: The Story of Ruth Ravina

Ruth survived hunger, cold, solitude, boredom and threats to life. Born in 1937, she was raised in Kozienice, and witnessed executions in the ghetto there. After escaping she survived three forced labor camps in Poland. By presenting the author's own childhood in the war we see a dialogue between Jew and German unique to the Holocaust memoir genre.
