Spirit Song

Nepenthe can only remember about four years of his life-four years spent running and hiding from a past that haunts him in shadowy bits of memory, mostly in unpleasant dreams. When he's rescued by warriors from the court of Lainen, his life is upended as he discovers court intrigue, warrior training, friendship, and the first real family he can remember. But Nepenthe's past catches up with him, and he must choose whether to run again, or fight for his newfound friends-and his future.
