Or perhaps if our children were more like this way than that way, we would have peace of mind and therefore be happy. The truth is, life is not, and never will be, ideal or perfect for any of us. We will encounter good times as well as difficult times. We will sometimes encounter tragedy and misfortune, as well as blissful and exhilarating triumphant happenings in our life.
