Penny's Christmas Tree

What happens when Penny is disappointed when her family can't afford a Christmas tree because the father is out of work? Fortunately, her teacher gives her the classroom tree just before vacation. Penny is determined to get the tree home through the snow. But sadly, many branches break off on the way, and Penny is very sad. But wait! Her industrious father knows how to repair the tree. Retrieving the broken branches, father and daughter play doctor and nurse, bringing the tree back to its former beauty. And Penny is overjoyed!
