As the West and the East continues to evolve within each other, there are notable bumps in the road. Moments where it would seem like trust was broken (to be later repaired), communication was lost (later to be found) and interests to be incongruent (later to be redefined).

Exploring this exciting and dangerous relationship is like witnessing a relationship. James, an Englishman and Wang Li, a Chinese woman, demonstrate how important it is to be honest. How deception, like wounds, can become more difficult to mend the longer they are left to fester.

The journey is long and can be enjoyable, as long as we remember that people are more than their politics. This will be understood sooner or later, whereby the former reveals how we bleed the same colour of blood and shed the same colour of tears.
