Demon Soul

This is the story of Rae and Raphael, a fantasy adventure set in an alternate world. Rae is trapped on the swamp world and is being hunted by the demons Kragge and Baael. Swamp people, Rakku and Mylic escort her through the dangers of the swamp to find the demon Raphael who can help her return home. Raphael has been be-spelled by Baael and is unable to help. Rae learns that Baael knows the location of her world and is planning to invade as soon as he can. She must stop him! She travels to Baael's lair and tries to confront him, but is unable to do so. Raphael must break himself out of Limbo and come to help her until he is released from LimboRae must travel to Baael's Lair by herself to stop him from invading her world. She tries everything she can, but she needs Raphael. He finally manages to break the Limbo spell and joins her in the Lair. Raphael challenges Baael to a contest of wills where the loser will die. In the ensuing clash, Rae is injured and the path to her home world is destroyed in an explosion. The Overlord of the Demon Worlds is angered by this and summons all participants to judgement in his Hall. Baael is stripped of his powers and banished. Raphael must take Rae to his home and care for her because she's unable to get home now. Rae doesn't want to stay at the mansion if Raphael is only keeping her there out of a sense of duty and honor. Raphael is afraid Rae will leave him just as he's come to the realization he truly cares about her. The question Rae has is: Can a demon fall in love? Because she has fallen for Raphael. They learn they care about each other. Without knowing it, Rae has come home.
